CELESTIAL BUTTERMERE Wow what a fantastic early morning at Buttermere yesterday at 3am photographing the Milky Way in near perfect conditions with a clear sky and virtually no wind. It’s been a while since I have shot the Milky Way and I was also lucky enough to see a colourful Lyrid meteor burning up in the night sky above Fleetwith Pike, but unfortunately it was too high to be in my shot.
