This female stonechat was photographed close to home. I had originally travelled south to Farlington, Portsmouth to get a photograph of a stonechat but was unfortunate and didn't get anything worthwhile. I got back to my home town and decided to visit my local heathland and pond. To my suprise a found a pair of Stonechats (first time seen locally) and captured this image.
