I just live Sanderlings! They were the first bird I photographed that made me feel like a "real" wildlife photographer, surprisingly the first ever Sanderling shot I took was in Southend near the bust pier since then I've really explored the Essex coastline and one of my favourite locations is the one I captured this guy at, slowly swapping the dull winter plumage for a fine summer one.
